Lutz Eichholz is a famous German mountain unicyclist who has ten years of extreme unicycling experience with several unicycling records.He has conquered some of the highest mountains such as Mettelhorn(3404 meters) and Matterhorn(4478 meters) in the Alps and the Andes on his unicycle and also he has the experience of unicycling in Wadi Rum Desert.It had long been his dream to ride Iran's highest peak,Mount Damavand(5671 meters). After three years of planning and more than ten years of unicycling his dream came true and he succeeded in the unicycle descent of Mount Damavand.Despite the weather fluctuations between 40° and -7° Celsius, he succeeded in the record breaking mountain descent in September 2014.During the filming on Mount Damavand, one of the film crew members broke his leg and the other got altitude sickness, so the filming project was not completed.
On October 7th, 1907, Tehran was officially selected as the capital of Iran by the Constitutional Assembly enactment.
In 2017, this date was named “Tehran Day” by Tehran City Council and since then different ceremonies are held on this occasion.
On October 7th, 2019 the municipality of Tehran organized a ceremony on Tehran Day to honor the premiers in restoring historical buildings of Tehran and Ali Jafarnejad the owner and manager of Pahleval Razaz Guest House (Arian Hostel), received an appreciation award for his efforts in restoring this valuable house in Tehran.
Arian Hostel (Pahlevan Razzaz Guest House) was selected as the best traditional hostel in Tehran and Ali Jafarnejad, the founder, as the most successful entrepreneur in Tehran in the annual assembly of Tourism Ministry.
Ali Jafarnejad bought the property in 2016, and started the renovation process immediately. After about 2 years and half, this old building turned into a beautiful hostel with all facilities of modern accommodation as well as all the features of an authentic traditional building.
What was done in Arian Hostel was a work of art and love and the Tourism Ministry noticed it very well.
This is only a beginning for Arian Hostel. The project continues by expanding the building and adding more rooms and facilities to the hostel.

TEHRAN – Joanna Lumley, the 72-year-old English actress and activist who is famous for her role as Patsy Stone in the BBC sitcom “Absolutely Fabulous”, is currently in Iran to make an episode of a series on the Silk Road for ITV, a British commercial TV network.
She is making the series in collaboration with Farzad Pak, an Iranian producer who has been involved with the production of more than 150 documentaries, large budget feature films and a variety of co-productions with international filmmakers in Iran and abroad, the Persian service of IRNA reported on Saturday.
Lumley, who won two BAFTA TV Awards for her role “Absolutely Fabulous” (1992–2012), is scheduled to visit the Iranian cities of Kashan, Isfahan, Yazd and Shiraz to complete the series.
Lumley's visit to Iran is part of her travel along the Silk Road from China to Venice. She will also pay a visit to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Georgia and Turkey to film the series.
